If your answer to any of these is yes, then you can visit the Pool Safety Council (QLD) website. The council has recently solved 3 complaints about pool safety inspectors. In these cases the pool safety council has decided to impose a monetary fine of AUD 400 on one inspector, the other’s license was suspended. The third complaint was unsubstantiated as per the council.
You can minimise such situations by ensuring that the Pool Safety Inspector (PSI) coming to inspect your pool is authorised to do so. You can even ask him to show his license. But still, if you are not satisfied with the reports given by your pool safety inspector or think it has not been done properly. You can login to the Pool Safety Council’s website and fill the pool safety council complaint form. When you submit this form, your complaint will be lodged. Later on, the council will investigate the complaint and check for evidences you’re your complaint is found to be true, the related PSI will be punished accordingly.
